Roll Over I-81 South

While heading to Watertown this morning we encountered a traffic jam.  Stuck for 30 minutes, we were finally re-routed to 81 North where I cut across to Route 37.  I do not think that people realize how dangerous cross winds and blowing and drifting snow can be. This accident happened after several miles of  heavily wooded area that protected that section of 81 from the gusty winds.  The next portion of 81 was an open area where the winds forced the driver to possibly over compensate for the cross winds.  I guess the only advice to give..... Slow Down.
