Riveredge Resort, General Manager Christine Penrose pleasantly surprised Alex Bay Village Board members as well as those of us in the audience during tonights meeting. According to Ms. Penrose the Riveredge is doing a Campaign of a Year Of Giving and every month the Riveredge picks a different organization to make a monetary donation. This month a percentage from the room revenues on the fourth of July were set aside to make a very generous $2,500.00 donation to the village for the purchase of a new children's swing set for the park.
